We're ENNIE nominated + Fulfillment Update

We're ENNIE nominated!

And we could not have done it without your support, making this plush possible. And even through we're still finishing out the fulfillment of the plush, this means a lot to us.

For those who dont know, the ENNIEs is  the biggest and most well-known ttrpg industry awards we have, so even making the nomination list is significant. Now, after select judge  nominations, it moves to a public vote for the Gold and Silver award. We were nominated for Best RPG Related Product (which surprise me because I was hoping we'd be categorized under Best Monster/Adversary). 

This vote is open to everyone, and does not require registration. In order to win, we would love to have your support and your vote!! To  make things easy, I've linked the specific category page to make it  easier to get to. Voting Closes July 23rd.

Remaining Fulfillments

As you may have guessed, some things are taking longer than others to get in-hand (childrens book, lorebook, minis). For those who got replacements, those orders were added to shopify (our order system) and the warehouse packed and shipped what we have in stock. So if we had something in hand, like the plush and book, we shipped those. 

For AUS, They've had some recent issues with inventory not letting orders go out and Ive been in communication with them to get that sorted. (and unlike the US system, they're holding items that don't have everything, which makes this a little messy), but we'll get there.

Ill say it here, as well as below, send us a message through Kickstarter if you are missing or need something addressed, in the next few days i will be going through that inbox. 

Still Missing?

If you're still missing an owlbear or want me to check on something, send us a message through Kickstarter. As much as I hate the message system, it is the best way to create a list of messages i can go through one by one. Over the course of the next few days, starting tonight, Ill be combing through them and responding to each to figure out what is going on, whats missing, and what needs to be done. Last week I had a whole week IRL work break where i was hoping to nail down these, but, much like my luck,  my infant son ended up getting really sick (urgent care) and that threw all plans out the window. 

Final Items

Minis- im so frustrated that this company that Ive worked with in the past (does great work at a great rate), has pretty much fallen off the face of the earth after i make contact with them. Which sucks, because finding pewter manufacturers is actually kinda difficult (and i really dont want to resort to china manufacturing for it). It would be easier if we just forgo metal (and just do resin with our 3d printer), but its what we promised. 

ABC Book - just needs to apply edits and send to printer

Lorebook - text is in hand, havent had the chance to edit, but we have gotten some great art for it (by Koit Paales)

Owlbear CLasses- i have a mauscript for one, but havent had the chance to clean it up, layout. I might work on this one sooner than later to just get it out and done. 

Digital Adventures - havent even looked yet, i have a manuscript for one, but getting physical product to bacekers is the highest priority.

Remaining Owlbear Fulfillment AUS/EU moving!

Hey everyone!

I got a response on Monday and unfortunately, I ended up getting sick (better now).

Anyways, good news is that GamesQuest is starting to pick and pack the imported uk/eu orders.

And recently AUS has received US restock shipment (not restocking owlbears but other rewards which they had run out of). And are beginning to get those moving as well.

I also saw some comments about some other backers (US) that are missing their rewards so ill be addressing those as they come along (will likely be a whack-a-mole situation for a few months).

Also, there is still outstanding minis/abc book/lorebook for those who opted to get them. Things have been hectic at work and theres a two week break coming up at the end of the month which im really hoping to hammer everything out (including a bunch of the digital stuff).

Also,ive finally got the person who did the plush prototype to start working on the next plushes (ill share when those come in more progress, but also i have no idea when that campaign will launch since i still have a bit to clean up before i feel comfortable doing so.)

Anyways i hope you all have a fantastic friday.

Finally! Movement in EU

Finally!! things have cleared the EU warehouse and are scheduled to be shipped.

That will cover most things.

For those remaining and waiting in AUS, we have the pins (and other book restocks) arriving June 2nd. Which should ship out quickly after.

As for the other items its been a little slower, as getting everything settled and figuring out finances has been my top priority (also passing through tax season didn't help either)

Lorebook-text is in hand, got most illustrations,  

Subclasses-written a piece of art is made for each but i need to lay it out. 

ABC-edited, waiting to print

Minis-havent moved on this yet unfortunately

still working to make sure everyone gets their plushes and rewards and thank you for being patient. 

I know a few messages have come in and I'll be going through them over the course of this weekend to resolve them.

Quick FUlfillment update

Hey All, 

Just a quick update as i know some comments have been increasing in volume as of late. 

EU/UK - GQ is still being a little bit frustrating to work with, but at least as of yesterday i have the attention of internal teams to finally get things moving productively. Ive done several imports of orders, most of which are running into system problems ranging from address problems,sku matching, and inventory (despite inventory being there for most things). Its incredibly frustrating and was hoping I could say things have shipped, but have been unable to do so.  Right now, there are about 300 total europe orders that are currently outstanding. 

AUS- so back when i mentioned the pallet that was going to take a while, im checking in on the status of that (i did get confirmation of shipment, just need to dig it up), but if you're missing your order its likely because its waiting for an item in that shipment.  (~200 backers)

US Backers - all that are left should be the ones waiting for lorebook, ABC or minis to come in before fulfillment. (~50 backers)

For those of you waiting for your owlbears, sorry its taken this long to get them out to you.  This has been quite the fulfillment roller coaster.  For the remaining 6000 of you who have received your owlbears, i do hope you've been enjoying them (ive seen a few pictures and they've been a joy to see out in the wild. )

Anyways, i do have updates on the lorebook, abc , childrens book to share, (i have some class stuff too) but need to spend more time on it, IRL work has been stealing all my time making multitasking difficult (as i write this at 1am).

Hey all, 

this is going to be a fairly brief update and its late.

Most of the survey stuff has been slow and manual. As of last night Ive uploaded what I believe is the remaining EU/UK orders, so getting confirmation from GamesQuest to import those (as doing them manually would take too long). 

Lorebooks, is making good progress, I have the draft text and going through it, and more than half the art is already there, so we should get to printing it pretty soon.

Classes should be getting text this weekend, i ahve some adorable art that i really want to show off for it (but too tired atm to format it and get a logo on it).

US orders I'm currently reviewing and and the remaining ones through (most of it has been manual checking because there has been some weirdness pushing to shopify. But you'll see the remainging filter through. 

Im hoping remaining UK/Eu orders start next week, but we'll see. 

Also, following up on remaining AUS items, as they should* be arriving soon.

For those who have recieved your owlbears, I do hope that you've been enjoying them.

Tangent Question- Owlbear accessories

Been briefly thinking about what other kinds of accessories we can create for the owlbear. 

Right off the bat I had the idea for a sword, staff, and mini dice. Though on inquiry, it seem like dice cant be done well with this manufacturer at the accessory size so im not even gonna consider that). But I am curious to hear what other ideas you all had for simple accessories (esp if they use the magnet).
